I’m Mameastou Fall, Associate Podcast Producer and Interviewer from Amherst College. I’m from New York and majoring in Psychology. I’m collaborating with the Creative Process to interview professional and student writers, musicians, filmmakers, and artists in several other disciplines with a mission to share stories that last lifetimes.

I love to write, so I am excited for the opportunity to build that muscle with The Creative Process and publish my work for the first time. My first love, though, is connecting with others and holding space for people to share their stories and wisdom. So I love this chance to interview notable creative thinkers in Amherst as well as abroad. (My high levels of curiosity and openness lead me to make friends with people everywhere I go, and either city I choose to travel to next semester is filled with innovative creatives!) I hope to attend many Creative Process exhibitions around the world as well and meet artists of all disciplines that are innovating and breaking boundaries.

Working at the Amherst College Queer Resource Center, I have organized, planned, and executed two campus-wide programs this semester (Love Black Love and Queeries).

I host a radio show on WAMH Radio 89.3FM entitled "School Never Taught You," during which I invite a different guest each week to discuss a topic they wish we were better prepared to handle or understand before entering adulthood.

I worked as an intern this past summer for Cait Scudder International. I sourced AirBnBs, event spaces, DJs, caterers, makeup and hair artists, event speakers, and gift bag contents for Cait Scudder's Born to Rise Live Event. I also handled daily operations like researching women's business organizations and pitching Cait Scudder International for news articles and podcast features.

My recent and forthcoming projects? I am designing the renovation of four music practice rooms on campus to foster more creativity and inspiration in those spaces. I am developing a probiotic skincare brand with my collaborator, Tracy Chen, that is set to launch towards the end of next year. I am in the process of applying for the 100 Projects for Peace Fund to supplement women's tech entrepreneurship organizations in Senegal with more resources. I also plan to organize workshops for women centering self-confidence and self-worth, and hopefully I will also be able to organize workshops for men about the significance of gender equality and combating gender violence.

I am a singer and in the midst of writing my first EP set for release. I am traveling abroad next semester either to Berlin or Amsterdam!
